The Bryiancz- Stoyvic Solar Union and Voluntary Dependencies can no longer stand for the Volsung unsolicited aggression. It must end now.
The Briancz - Stoyvic Solar Union and Voluntary Dependencies has remained patient in a hope the Volsung states would come to their collective senses. In fact we were reviewing the potential of releasing the Volsung Federation from the obligations their predatory acts around Kara had created in an effort to generate good will when the word of the incident came.
Not an hour past in the system of Posit, clearly within our soveriegn domain, three trade ships were set upon by a Freya Destroyer. The ship powered up weapons and destroyed the Vauxhaul Clydesdale V without communication of any kind. We could not identify the name via the video, but we expect your Navy will be able to provide its identification post haste.
In preparation for potential aggression similar to what we saw at Kara, we've interspersed Q-Ships in our convoys. This particular convoy fortunately included the Zmije who was fortunate through a single strike to destroy the interloper.
Video of the incident has been attached. No civil state will attempt to claim such documents are forged, though given the history of dialog between, it is expected the Volsung state will try to make that claim here. Further, there is an expectation that there will be claims that Posit was not a Voluntary Dependency, and to avoid such claims we've attached records from the plenum seven years back of the 32,144 registered inhabitants of Posit placing it as a Voluntary Dependency with a 87% support vote. Copies of attached videos and this attached document have been shared with all regional government, news agencies, and other parties as appropriate as a word of warning against Volsung treachery.
Evidence resolved, I don't want to lose sight of what has happened here. Forty Seven crew members of the Heavy Freighter Vauxhaul Clydesdale V will never see their families and only by the fortuitous presence of the Q-Ship Zmije was the rest of the fleet spared the same fate. We declare Interdict on the Volsung Confederation as a righteous response against their actions. We will enforce it to the extent of our abilities, which are vast. A courtesy of fifty (50) solar hours will be granted for internal Volsung discussions to allow them an option to agreed to the attached list of reparations in order to end this unpleasantness. Then there will be no room left for mercy.
